Climate change denialists are hilarious people. They’re the same people who think that evolution is a leftist conspiracy to destroy Jesus. Not the sharpest tools in the shed, which is why they are usually hard right because to be hard right you don’t have to think about or study for anything… you just have blind faith that what you’re being told is “right” because of freedom, and jesus, and apple pie, and other lofty idealistic nonsense that makes people feel all warm and fuzzy patriotic inside.

That’s why I had to laugh when I saw this post by noted Newsbusters columnist and Sean Hannity regular Noel Sheppard. He points out that Al Gore is on TV warning us about the dangers of climate change EVEN THOUGH IT’s WINTER!!! Yes Noel, anyone who understands science would think it to be a no brainer that in the winter, when the earth’s elliptical orbit places it further away from the sun… it would get colder. It does seem like common sense to anyone with an education past the 4th grade. However, this is the evidence these jobbers use to point out that global warming is a fraud…  that and a few emails from scientists that while they look suspicious do nothing to point to any data about climate change being fraudulent.

And that’s really what this whole debate comes down to…  opinion. There is mounds and mounds of real world scientific evidence to prove that the planet has been getting systemically warmer since the industrial revolution… but hey… it still snows in the winter so all that is irrelevant.

Please keep sharp objects away from Noel Shepherd and anyone who takes him seriously…  while I think idiotic rhetoric should be debunked I don’t wish them any harm.
